Jacob Biehl

Dr. Jacob Biehl joined the School of Computing and Information in the fall of 2019. Before SCI, he was a principal research scientist at FX Palo Alto Laboratory in Silicon Valley. He holds a Ph.D. (2008) and MS (2004) in Computer Science and a BS (2002) in Statistics and Computer Science, all from the University of Illinois (Urbana).
Jacob’s research interests are at the intersection of systems and human-computer interaction (HCI). Most recently, his work has centered on designing, deploying, and evaluating IoT technologies that address important issues in workflow and work practice.
