Grades

Grade Vector:

You will receive a "grade vector" from the instructor after each assignment, quiz or exam. The grade vector contains all your scores up to the time of current assignment, quiz or exam. Basically, if you see q1=Q1, it means the first quiz (q1) will be assigned the score Q1. After you have taken the first quiz, you will see, for example, q1=3, i.e., you received 3 points. The other fields have similar meanings: mid is midterm, fin is final, and proj is project. The lab assignment is a vector of ten. Initially it is set to xxxxxxxxxx. Every time you completed a lab assignment, you will receive a score of 0, 1 or 2. For example, after you completed lab 1 and received a score of 2, your grade vector becomes 2xxxxxxxxxx, and so on.

Online Test or Exam:

To take an online test or exam, please go to the following site. Please don't forget to enter the "/" at the end, which is important so that you can correctly log in to take the test.

http://green.cs.ksi.edu/online_test/

Please enter the first name, last name exactly as they appear in your grade vector, including the use of upper case and lower case letters. Your password is the same as the first part of your e-mail address, not including the part after the @ symbol. For example, if your e-mail address is abc@pitt.edu, then your password will be "abc".

Once you have logged in, you can select the test to take. You must answer each and every question. Do not skip any question. If you miss a question, your grade may not be calculated correctly!

After you have taken the test, you will see the correct answers and your grade.
