Cyber-Physical Systems

Cyber-Physical Systems (CPSs) encompass the interaction of computer systems with the physical world.  This includes transportation systems, smart cities, smart buildings, the electric grid, as well as controlling renewable energy sources or other types of physical entities, such as a heating/cooling systems.
