Zhen Wu

Zhen Wu is a third-year undergraduate student majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Mathematics. She is a research assistant studying analogies and animations in Computer Science teaching in the department and is completing a UHC Research Fellowship for this project. She also analyzes the movements of soft robotics by machine learning models in the department of Industrial Engineering. Outside the classroom, Zhen works as an academic director in the Phi Eta Sigma National Honors Society (Pitt chapter), a membership chair of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) (Pitt chapter), and a student mentor at the Honors College. In her spare time, Zhen loves playing the flute and the piano, baking, and singing!
