As a Data Architect, I translate strategic requirements of the Dean and Director into usable enterprise information which include an enterprise data model, associated metamodel, common business vocabulary, ontologies and taxonomies to be used to guide enterprise solution development and achieve consistency of information assets across the school portfolio of applications. I provide functional and technical leadership and guidance needed to develop longer-term data strategies and data governance practices. I evaluate end-to-end data life cycle activities, recommend new and evolving data management, operation, integration technologies, and standards to help ensure data consistency and integrity across the school functional areas.
