Mohamed started his teaching career in 2019 with undergraduate cloud computing at the University of Pittsburgh. In 2020, Mohamed started teaching undergraduate and graduate data science courses at Carnegie Mellon University. In addition to his teaching experience, Mohamed has 10+ years of industrial experience in big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and machine learning and he was a member of the US-big data analytics team at a multi-national consulting firm. In addition, he served as a member in several committees in the Project Management Institute (PMI) including "Thesis Grant Program", "Sponsored Research Program" and "Young Professional Award Application Evaluation". Mohamed is the recipient of the STAR award for individual performance from multinational consulting firm, CGI, and the certificate of appreciation for excellence from the Project Management Institute in 2019 & 2020.
