  • There is a slight correction on the solution to problem 6 in exam2-F07.  It is the problem on permuting ABCDEFGHXYZ under certain restrictions.  Step 6 of the construction procedure should read "Replace P with a permutation of ABC à 3! ways".
  • There is another correction.  It is for problem 10 in exam2-F07.  It is the problem on rolling red and blue dice.  The event that the sum of the two dice is at least 10 is the set { (6,4), (6,5), (6,6),    (5,5), (5,6),   (4,6)  }.

  • Both lectures and recitations will move to room SENSQ 5129.  Lectures will move to this room NEXT WEEK.  So, tomorrow we still meet in room LAWRN 105.  Recitations will move to this room starting tomorrow.  Thanks to Musfiq, who found the room for us.
