- This week we will begin talking about Microsoft Word. Today, we will do the lecture. WD_PP01-mod.ppt.
- I'll post the first homework later today. Please expect to see it here. Its due date is next Tuesday.
- On Thursday, we will do hands-on activity in class. Please bring the book to class on Thursday. We will do section WD1. You don't have to bring the CD. I'll put and resource files on the web site.

- This is about the exam last Thursday. Some of you did not successfully upload your file. Some of you lost your work during the exam. Some of you did not do as well.
  
  I’m giving a chance to anyone who wants to retake the exam. However, if you decide to retake the exam, the highest score is only 90%. The make up exam will be given this Thursday (Thursday March 1^st). The exam will be solely on Microsoft Word. You are to create a Microsoft Word document similar to the one in the first exam. The unit on Microsoft Excel will be postponed. So, if you decide not to retake the exam, then you can take an early Sprint recess.
  
  I’ll give you your score by tomorrow (Tuesday February 27^th) via email so that you have time to decide and study some more. In tomorrow class, I’ll go over common mistakes and misconceptions on Microsoft Word.
