The directory for the following installation was /usr/local/contrib/bin

• aspell (ver 0.50.5), an open source spell checker for Unix was installed on the Linux machines, (User Manual).
  
  
• pkg-config, a system for managing library compile/link flags that works with automake and autoconf was installed on the Linux machines.
  
  
• The trial version of Opera, a web browser was installed on the Linux machines.
