The directory for the following installation was /usr/local/contrib/bin

• valgrind, an open source memory debugger for x-86 Linux programs was installed on the Linux machines, (valgrind Documentation).
  
  
• cadaver, a command-line WebDAV client for Unix was installed on the Linux machines, (cadaver mailing list).
  
  
• latex2rtf, a tool to convert latex files into rtf (Rich Text Format) was installed on the Linux machines, (latex2rtf Documentation).
