• The latest version of LaTeX was installed on the elements machines and blitz/javalab machines. The directory of installation was: /usr/local/share/teTeX and the executibles can be found in the directory: /usr/local/share/teTeX/bin, (LaTeX tutorial).

  In case you are using the C shell, this path is automatically set for you by the .cshrc file. If you are using the bash shell, you need to set your path to include /usr/local/share/teTeX/bin to be able to use this new version.
