Research
Scientific research has always been my main interest;
my childhood dream was to be a university professor. For
me, to conduct research means to develop new solutions
for real world problems, and provide easier, more
reliable and more accurate ways to perform hard critical
tasks. That is why research, a field of serving others,
is an open field, a life career, a field full of
challenge, and an endless learning process. It requires
creativity, patience, and hardworking.

Research Interest...
My research interests lie in the general area of Computer Systems with emphasis on Data Management. In particular, I am interested in challenges involved in the management of large data, with real-time requirements. In my research, I focus on designing efficient, scalable and adaptive solutions, for decision support applications. I have, therefore, conducted research in the areas of Continuous Data Analytics, Cloud Data Management, Web-Databases and Data Mining. In my Ph.D. dissertation, I am focusing on specific problem of developing scalable Data Stream Management Systems to support Continuous Data Analytics. I am implementing my proposed schemes in the group's data stream management system: AQSIOS.

I am currently working in the
AQSIOS Project,
in which we try to improve the services provided by data
stream management systems, by applying optimizations to
the internal system processing, and we also explore data
streams applications. We also implement a DSMS to be called AQSIOS.
