Vitae..
I was born on November 15th, 1979 in the beautiful city
known as The Pearl of the Mediterranean; it is
the "Alexandria" of "Egypt"... I rose up as the
middle son among three. Being Alexandrian, I became a
"Sea"-addict man.
My parents taught me that Education is the "WAY", and
eventually I became a "Study"-addict. I love to learn
all the time specially about the Theory behind things,
even simple things.
I love sports; specially Swimming, Basket Ball, Soccer,
and Biking..
I love writing painting & literature...

Education..
I finished the High School on July 1996 from Mubarak
Secondary School. Immediately I went to the Faculty of
Engineering, Alexandria University. I then joined the Computer Science Department. I was graduated on July 2001.
After graduation joined the Graduate school at same place
for Masters degree, after Military service delay. I received
my Thesis-based Masters on May 2006 on the field of Data Mining.
I earned my project-based Masters degree in Web Databases from Pitt. The degree is officially granted on April 2011, and the project title is "Adaptive Scheduling of Web-Database Transactions"
Before that, I joined the Graduate School in Pitt, to
start my PhD studies in Computer Science. less...
Professional.. Job Experience:
On July 20th, 2001 - right after graduation - I joined Bibliotheca
Alexandrina's ICT Department as a Software Engineer
(Full Time), and continued for four and half years till
November 30th, 2005. I was promoted to a Senior Software Engineer.
I was a member of the Database Administration Unit.
Using Visual C++ 6.0, Visual Studio .NET, and SQL Server
2000, I participated in the following internal projects
(besides our tasks as DBAs): Data migration,
Was one of four who were responsible on setting up BA
digital environment, Ancient Library Project, Membership
System, Setting up the Digital Lab,
and Digital Assets Repository.
I also participated on the following projects in
collaboration with other associations: Abdelnasser Collection Digital Library, and OACIS.
Between September 2001-December 2001, I was a Delegated TA in
Computers and Automatic Control Department, Alexandria
University as a part time job.
Internships: Summer 2008 I worked with GoldenGate Co. as a Research Intern. I worked in a transactional data obfuscation project. In Summer 2005, I was lucky to go for an Internship at Yale
University; to complete work in OACIS project.
