I am a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Biomedical Informatics, University of Pittsburgh. Until December 2010, I was a PhD student at the
Intelligent Systems Program.
My research is in use of machine learning methods to discover biomarkers from proteomic and genomic data. Currently, I am working with SNP data. My dissertation was about transfer rule learning for biomarker discovery from high-dimensional data sets and was evaluated on mass spectral data. I collaborate with my former PhD advisor, Dr. Vanathi Gopalakrishnan. I also work with Marjorie Romkes and Petr Pancoska at the Center for Clinical Pharmacology. |
