CS 110 Homework Assignments

Create two web pages:

  1. A Personal Homepage. In your UNIX ~/public/html/ directory, create index.html (at least). This should be a personal page describing you, your interests, your goals, or whatever else you decide to include on the page.
  2. Your Resume (part Deux). Redo HW3 as a html webpage, resume.html. Load it up to your public/html/directory and provide a link to it from your homepage. Do this by hand; don't save your resume Word document as a webpage.

30 Points

Notes:

  1. You may use FrontPage for this assignment.
  2. Use tables or frames to layout your document where appropriate.
  3. Attempt to have a consistent design or layout between the two pages.
  4. Extra Credit. You may receive an additional 10 points for this assignment as follows: 5 additional HW points followed by 5 additional Midterm points. These will be given as Style points for well designed pages that go beyond the expected use of html and/or FrontPage, depending on what you decide to use. While this is subjective, generally anything will be considered that is more than moderately better than what I've shown in class in terms of both content and design. The 5 HW points will be given first, followed by the 5 midterm points, which are worth more towards your final grade. It will be EXTREMELY difficult to get these last 5 points, though.
  5. I will be checking the page source for any shenanigans

Submission:

When complete, send me an email with 'CS110 Hw5' in the subject line containing a link to your Personal Homepage. I should then be able to get to your Resume page from there.
