About Me

News: I'm currently a Research Scientist @ Facebook, Inc. I defended my Ph.D. dissertation on June 22nd 2016.

I'm a Ph.D. Candidate at the Computer Science Department, University of Pittsburgh.

My research interests lie in the board area of scalable, high-performance and low-latency system software for large scale computing infrastructures. My work spans from the operating system architecture for extreme scale supercomputers to the operating system designs for the cloud environments. My academic advisor is Professor Jack Lange.

I completed my B.E. at University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 2010. I held a 2010–2011 Arts & Sciences Fellowships from University of Pittsburgh. I have interned twice at the ESX kernel group of VMware during summer 2013 and 2014. I served as the Judge of the System Software Panel at the Intel ISEF, May 2015. Previously, I was awarded the first prize of the China High School Biology Olympiad (CHSBO) in 2005.
