Course Description
In this course, we will study various features of advanced computer
operating systems, primarily distributed and multiprocessor operating
systems. There will be a heavy emphasis on the principles, design
issues, and algorithms, and relatively little emphasis on specific
implementations. There will be three or four programming assignments,
which will help you to understand various advanced operating systems
mechanisms in detail.
