Litman Subject: RE: [Faculty] FW: TA Assignments (partial list) (fwd) Hi Diane, I would like to set my office hour Monday 2:00pm - 5:00pm. Here is something about the homework submission: For the Programming Homework Please submit your solution to courseweb.pitt.edu using digital drop box before the midnight (or start of class) of the due date. Please submit one file (tarball, zipfile) containing: your report (if it is required), your source codes, the executable file, and a README file which should include: (1) The programming language that you use for this homework. (2) How to compile and run your program. (3) A very simple description of your algorithm. Programming Languages Generally, we can accept C/C++, Java, Python, Perl and Matlab. However, if you want to use other programming languages, please contact TA first. How to Use the Digital Dropbox You should first click on "Course Tools", then "Digital Dropbox". You need to click on "send file" for the file to be submitted to us. If you only click on "add file", we will not be able to access your submission. For the Written Homework We strongly recommend submitting an electronic version using digital drop box. However, if you only have hand-written homework, you can stop TA's office or drop it into his mailbox 312 on the sixth floor and sent an email to him (chenhai@cs.pitt.edu) at same time. Please write your name on your homework. Late Penalty The penalty is 10% per day up to 5 days including Saturday, Sunday, and holidays. Again, assignments are due before the start of class, and will be verified using Blackboard timestamps. see you tomorrow. Chenhai On Thu, 21 Aug 2008, Diane J.
