  1. Off the Floor Pittsburgh
    • Provides basic used furniture like beds, dressers, tables, and chairs to disadvantaged families who lack these items. They also accept donations!

    • Projects to revitalize the Garfield neighborhood in Pittsburgh, one of the poorer in Pittsburgh
    • September 27, 2008: Worked to create a community garden in Garfield
    • March 7, 2009: Worked to create a community garden in Garfield
    • April 4, 2009: Helped renovate part of a house for disadvantaged families trying to rebuild their lives
    • October 3, 2009: Began work on a second community garden in Garfield
  3. Sojourner House MOMS
    • Provides housing and services for homeless, single women struggling with addiction, and their dependent children.
    • May 16, 2009: Helped build a sandbox, then did some landscape work (MOMS Green)
    • October 24, 2009: Planted plants and tires to prevent erosion
