May 31, 2008:	Plan to attend the Tribute to Honor Jim Gray at UC Berkeley.

May 9, 2008:	Giving a talk at the Institute of Computer Science - FORTH, on User-Centric Data Management.

May 5, 2008:	The March 2008 issue of SIGMOD Record is published. The June 2008 issue (devoted to the proceedings from the Tribute to Honor Jim Gray) is also coming soon.

April 24, 2008:	I now have an author profile at the ACM Digital Library. (Everybody has one by default, but this is a new feature and it now has my photo too :-)).

April 17, 2008:	I am running for a position in the University Senate Computer Usage Committee.

April 7-12, 2008:	Attending ICDE 2008 in Cancun, Mexico. We have a paper in the SMDB workshop; I am on the steering committee of the RFDM workshop.

March 19, 2008:	The December 2007 issue of SIGMOD Record is published. The March 2008 issue is coming up in April.

Mar 11, 2007:	Our paper, ViP: A User-Centric View-Based Annotation Framework for Scientific Data (Qinglan Li, Alexandros Labrinidis, Panos K. Chrysanthis), has been accepted to the 20th International Conference on Scientific and Statistical Database Management (SSDBM'08).

Jan 8, 2008:	Our participation in the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope (LSST) effort is mentioned in a University Press Release and in the University Times.

Dec 5-6, 2007:	Attending the NSF Biomedical Informatics Workshop in Portland, Oregon.

Oct 30, 2007:	The September 2007 issue of SIGMOD Record is published.

Oct 11, 2007:	My inaugural issue as SIGMOD Record Editor is finally published.

Oct 1, 2007:	My Virtual WebDB Laboratory project is featured in the September 2007 issue of the Teaching Times newsletter.

Aug 31, 2007:	Huiming Qu (whom I advise) successfully defends her PhD dissertation.
