Research Interest

My research interests focus on the design and implementation of networked systems. I am especially interested in the novel techniques which fundamentally improve the scalability, reliability and performance of large-scale networked and distributed systems.

I have been in charge of the Co* projects on PlanetLab:

CoDeeN, a Web content distribution network on PlanetLab
CoDNS, fast and reliable DNS lookup service
CoBlitz, scalable large-file transfer service over HTTP
CoDeploy, scalable delpoyment service on top of CoBlitz
CoMon, monitoring infrastructure for PlanetLab
SliceStat, the slice monitoring sensor for PlanetLab
