Beta Testing New Game
06/29/07
I'm looking for some feedback on a game I'm developing for both WM and Windows. It is written in C# on .Net so the same executable runs on both platforms.
At this point the basics of the game are done, I just need input on the parameters on gameplay, i.e., is it too hard, etc.

2 New Freeware Coming Soon
05/25/07
Just to force myself to actually remember to post these, I have two new freeware programs that I will be releasing soon. I still need to tidy up their interfaces and make some installers for them.
The first is CPUSpeedScaler which will be a freeware PXA-270 CPU underclocker(/overclocker).

Reposted from me writing this in response to someone saying they'd buy the iPhone the day it came out:
It's funny, there's nothing that the iPhone does that a PDA or SmartPhone doesn't already do.
Jobs was mistaken in saying it has the best screen, my PDA do

I've updated the VGA version of GSPlayer to the latest normal release, 2.25.
This includes a WM5 version that uses the Soft Keys.
Just drop the new exe over the old one from the regular 2.25 install. Otherwise copy a version of gsgetfile.dll into windows to make sure you

RadarWatch broken again

Apparently the NWS has eliminated yet again the source of the radar images RadarWatch Downloads.
I will attempt to switch over to their new system in the next day or so. The animation part may not be full featured in the upcoming release.

The woes of software registration
12/27/05
I'm sometimes asked why I don't sell my software. The number one reason is lack of time to do proper support. My schooling and teaching come first.
A second reason is software registration. The reality for software developer is that if you release a shareware program, it will b -
WM5 and *.unload files
12/22/05
I was looking into how to display the list of installed programs, and I noticed that in WM5 there are no .unload files in the \windows directory. It seems that they have been replaced with xml files in subdirectories under \windows\appmgr
Anyone confirm this or explain the difference?

Got a program idea?
12/19/05
So I have some time over break (I'm a grad student) and I like to do a new program over my breaks as a hobby. However, I'm not really sure what program to make next. So, I'm opening it up to suggestions.
Anything goes, but here are some notes that will make your suggestion -
x51mix?
12/17/05
As far as I know, the x51 series has the same audio chip as the x50 series. That means that x50mix should also work on the x51s without a problem.
Leave a note here with your experience to confirm, or let me know if there seems to be a problem.

SearchToday New Testing build
12/07/05
I've uploaded a new testing build to try to eliminate the lockups on WM2003SE. So far all I know is that an x50v with WM2003SE has problems, while an x50v with WM5 doesn't seem to.
This new testing release disables two features I added in the new version: resizing on orientation -

Reports of SearchToday causing lockup!
