I joined the
Department of Computer Science,
University of Pittsburgh in fall, 2002 as
a PhD student. I am currently in Advanced Data Management Technologies (ADMT)
Lab, advised by Professor
Alexandros Labrinidis.
My thesis research focuses
on Web-databases and Real-time databases (admission control, CPU scheduling,
concurrency control to balance Quality of Service and Quality of Data). My
broader interests also expend on link analysis in graphs, data integration
in mobile databases and operator scheduling in data stream managements.
Before I came to Pittsburgh,
I got my Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from
Northeastern
University in 2000 at Shenyang, China. After that, I worked in
Department of Data Management of
Neusoft Group Ltd. for two years. |

I have been selected to participate in the
CRA-W Career Mentoring Workshop at FCRC 2007 that will be held on
June 9-10, San Diego, CA, with $1000 travel grant. |
