Education:

PhD       2004-     University of Pittsburgh

M.S.E    2002      University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia

B.E        2001      N.E.D University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi

Research Interests:

My primary interest is in the design and optimization of computer networks. Specifically, I am interested in the design of high-speed communication networks that are scalable, evolvable, heterogeneous, and can work smartly with minimal human interaction. I am also interested in using statistical and operations engineering tools and techniques for optimizing performance of computing systems. My current research involves control layer design for next-generation networks and optimizations in Internet routing.
