  • Use of hypothetical cases in case based reasoning with a focus on legal argumentation.
  • Research on Artificial Intelligence and the Law with a special focus on the handling of uncertainty and argumentation.
  • Research on Andes an intelligent tutoring system for Physics.

    • Election Night Tabulation Report documenting the process of returns tabulation and open questions from the 2006 Mid-Term elections.
    • Comparative costs estimates for touch-screen and optical scanner systems in Allegheny County.
    • I am presently involved in an effort to force Allegheny County to audit its voting machines so as to ensure that, at the very least ensure that what voting systems they have are, in fact, what they are supposed to be.
