User Guide : Chronobot Cute Client

[Introduction]

Cute Client is a tool for Chronobot end users. Using it, users can manage personal life time schedule, and "lend"/"borrow" time though bidding process.  

[Minimum System Requirement]

  • Intel Pentium processor
  • Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition, Windows Millennium Edition, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP
  • 32MB of RAM (64MB recommended)
  • 5MB of available hard-disk space

[Getting Started]

  •  Download/Copy the package and click to run. Follow the instructions step by step. Once finished, a new group named "Chronobot Cute Client" will be added into your program group(Figure1). Click Start--> Program-->Chronobot Cute Client-->Chronobot Client to Start the tool.

  • Login Window:

  • Configuration: before input your user name and password, please select menu Tools->System Configuration. A dialog in Figure3 will be shown.

Trouble Shooting: If you get message "Error: KEM/TM Server is not available!", please use configure tool mentioned in [Configuration] to set the server's information. If the problem persists, check  if you are using any firewall software. In some cases, system fails because communication port is blocked by a firewall. Opening the port or disabling firewall could solve the problem.

[Basic Functions]

After login successfully, following functions will be available

[Live Update]

A live update tool is provided to download the latest version without re-install the tool.  Click Start--> Program-->Chronobot Cute Client-->Live Update, a window will be shown as Figure 9.

By clicking  "update" button, system will automatically check  availability of new version. If yes, it will  overwrite the current version by new one.
