Standalone Executable Files (For users who do not have permission to install new software on computers, e.g. in labs, library and so on)

• Student Tool: Click Here to download a zip file of the tool. It includes the executable file:

StudentTool.exe and config_student.ini.

•  Teacher Tool (for testing only):Click Here to download a zip file of the tool. It includes the executable file:

Classroom_Teacher.exe and config_teacher.ini

All tools work on MS windows. Please save them to disk. Make  shortcuts on desktop if you like.

[Startup]

Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet before you execute the files.

• Virtual Classroom:  Please run StudentTool.exe. Once it starts, you will be asked to input your first name, last name and password. Your password is the one you provided during the online registration.

Attention: Please use the name which you registered online. All names should be in lower case.

Troubleshooting: If you have trouble to log in, getting message as "authentication failed" (probably because your name does not appear on the roster we have), please send an email to chang@cs.pitt.edu (including your name and registered course)
