Objective:
To create a platform independent XML browser that was suitable for desktop applications as well as embedded network systems. The x-smiles browser supports the following XML technologies: XSLT, XSL FO, SVG and SMIL.
It is important to note that X-Smiles is not an HTML browser. At some time in the future, it may be extended to support XHTML. XHTML is an XML-ized form of HTML that applies the strict tag structure to HTML documents.
