WAP protocol

The Wireless Application Protocol (WAP) is an open, global specification that empowers mobile users with wireless devices to easily access and interact with information and services instantly. This standard has to do with getting web-related graphical material onto a hand-held device like a cell phone.

It works to translate various telecommunications protocols and lets a bank be device and network protocol independent. A majority of the big wireless companies-Nokia and Ericcson are supporting it. Bankers should interest in getting a good application that will isolate bankers from solution complexity and deliver a solution that is flexible and has reach.
