Thank you for visiting. I am a fifth year Ph.D. student in the Intelligent Systems Program. I am interested in intelligent tutoring systems, and am studying under the supervision of Dr. Diane Litman

I am interested in applying the tools of computational linguistics and the insights gained from the study of both text processing and the psychology of learning to improving natural language dialog tutoring systems. My work so far has built on psychological models of reading and of dialog which predict relationships between certain dialog features and learning. Tools common in the natural language processing community were then used to detect these features in various corpora of tutoring dialogs.
