Candidate Key Capabilities and Responsibilities
Vivisimo seeks an experienced Computer Scientist/Developer with a mastery of C to architect, design algorithms for, and implement new capabilities in our core search products. These core search products are deployed at Clusty.com, USA.gov and in well over 100 enterprise search applications, so the successful candidate will develop new technologies that have immediate user impact. 
Candidate Experience and Requirements
    * Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
    * At least 3 years experience in development of complex software systems
    * C/C++ programming 
    * XML technologies: XPath, XSL, XSD, SOAP etc.
    * Web technologies: HTML, Javascript, CSS, etc.
    * Unix and Windows
    * Programming of distributed systems
    * Programming complex multi-threaded applications
    * Ability to work both independently and as part of a team 

Other Pluses:

  * Experience with search engines, text mining or information visualization, information extraction, XML databases, etc.

    * Loves information retrieval and the Web
    * Experience with version control (e.g. CVS, SVN, Git)
