Prepare analytical presentations to ensure that central office and school staff understand what needs to be done to improve achievement. 2. Retrieve, interpret, analyze, and report school and student data. 3. Design, implement, and disseminate a variety of user-friendly reports to monitor the performance of schools. 4. Capture and analyze complex school and student-level data from multiple data systems. 5. Create streamlined approaches to transition of analytical results into simple, clear reports to support interpretation, and ultimately understanding ad application of results. Qualifications: 1. A minimum Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Social Science. Masters preferred. 2. 5+ years’ experience working with large datasets/analytical datamarts. 3. Demonstrated project management skills 4. Ability to prioritize and plan workload. 5. Extensive research and data management experience 6. Demonstrated competence in trend analysis, longitudinal analysis, modeling and simulation techniques 7. Expert Access and Excel user with the ability to use pivot tables and complex formulas and has mastered the use of Macros. 8. Strong SQL skills including the ability to freehand complex queries. Understanding of complex reporting and comfortable with very large, multidimensional datasets. 9. Skills such as SAS or SPSS are an advantage however these tools are not used on a daily basis. 10. The ability to interpret and report on data is an advantage. 11. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 12. A high level of attention to detail and data quality 13. Ability to work as a complementary part of a diversely-skilled team and interact effectively with others.
