The Information Technology group at Cambridge Associates is comprised of roughly 85 people, of which 60 are focused on custom software development. Cambridge Associates is seeking entry level applicants for our Software Developer position in our Arlington, Virginia office. Description: Typical application development work focuses on one of several major categories of application development: Internet services, financial data analysis, and software infrastructure development. Your primary responsibilities will include: • Writing software • Developing and maintaining enterprise applications using a variety of software development technologies in a Microsoft Windows environment throughout the software development lifecycle • Identifying potential problems, evaluate application performance against documented requirements, and actively determine specifications and standards for applications • Working with internal clients to gather information on how to solve particular business problems • Participating constructively in project meetings and provide ongoing status to peers and management Cambridge Associates uses these technologies: Microsoft .Net Framework – ASP.Net, C#, Visual Studio, SQL Server, Source Safe Microsoft Ajax and third party Ajax frameworks, Java script, HTML, and Microsoft Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
