CS 1566: Introduction to Computer Graphics

Description

This course offers an in-depth exploration of fundamental concepts in 2D and 3D computer graphics. The bulk of the course is devoted to 3D modeling, geometric transformations, and 3D viewing and rendering.

Prerequisites

CS 0447 or instructor's written permission; offered once a year

Requirements and Grading

About five programming assignments (using locally available graphics systems), possibly some written homework assignments, and examinations.

Recitation: None.

Expected class size: 30 students.

Frequency: This course is usually offered once each year.
