CS 0401: Intermediate Programming Using Java

Description

This course is a rigorous introduction to the fundamental concepts and techniques of computer programming using the Java programming language. This is a first course for students who intend to major in computer science.

Prerequisites

Previous programming experience similar to what is taught in a high school level programming course.

Requirements and Grading

Grading will be based on programming assignments, laboratory reports, and exams.

Recitation: A lab associated with the selected class section is required.

Expected class size: 60 students.

Frequency: This course is offered every term.
