I was given the opportunity to participate in the cooperative education program with Texas Instruments. It was an educational, interesting, and rewarding experience. The tasks I performed were pertinent to my course curriculum, and thus helped solidify the knowledge I gained in class. The work experience has increased my marketability for prospective employers after graduation, and it has provided me with a clearer perspective on the jobs available in my field. Finally, the salary earned while working enabled me to more easily undertake the expenses of a college student.
