Construction Timeline

The Pitt theater is destroyed by April 17, 2000 A hole is starting to appear on May 11, 2000 Still a big mess on June 14, 2000
The hole is nearly finished on July 19, 2000 Rebarb coming in for the foundation on August 25, 2000 The bottom garage level concrete has been poured on September 27, 2000
The underground parking garage is near completion on November 1, 2000 The ground floor is beginning on December 21, 2000 The first floor steel is going into place on January 23, 2001
The skeleton is emerging on February 9, 2001 Steel work is proceeding on March 14, 2001 The first exterior layer is coming in on the back on April 10, 2001
The outer steel frame is just about completed on May 23, 2001 The exterior is being quickly added on June 15, 2001 The outer masonry is coming along on July 27, 2001
Lower exterior work progresses on August 27, 2001 Windows are being installed on September 5, 2001 The exterior is nearing completion on October 4, 2001
