2008-2009 CS Faculty and Student Awards
Each year, the Computer Science Department awards faculty members and graduate students for their many achievements. The 2008-2009 awards were announced at the annual "Welcome Back" reception held on Friday October 9th, 2009. This year's award recipients are:
CS Department Teaching Awards
The department's teaching awards are given to faculty and a teaching assistant for achieving the highest student evaluation score for overall effectiveness during the academic year.

With the Taulbee Award, the Department of Computer Science recognizes graduate student excellence and promise as a teacher and researcher based on overall QPA, teaching ability and research work.
