Departmental BUILDINGS

The CS Dept was housed on the 7th and 8th floors of the Cathedral of Learning from 1966 until 1974, when it moved to the 2nd and 3rd floors of Alumni Hall (previously occupied by the Chemistry Dept.) Because of its surge in enrollments and increase in faculty size, it expanded to also use the entire Mineral Industries Bldg (MIB) in the mid-1980s. It resided in those two buildings until it relocated to the new Sennott Square in 2002.
