Sangyeun Cho
Sangyeun Cho is an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh. Before joining Pitt, he worked at Samsung Semiconductor as a senior engineer and developed several generations of the CalmRISCTM embedded processor cores and their cache memories. He received his BS in Computer Engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul in 1994 and his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis in 2002. His research interests include memory hierarchy design in current and future high-performance microprocessor-based computer systems, processor reliabiality issues, embedded processor design, and computer architecture in general. He holds two US patents with four others pending.

Mohammad Hammoud is a fourth year PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh. In June 2004 he received his BS in Computer Science from the American University of Science and Technology (AUST), Lebanon. He was enrolled thereafter as a full time graduate student at AUST before transferring in August 2005 to the University of Pittsburgh. Hyunjin Abraham Lee is a fourth year PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh. Before joining the CAST Lab., he had been engaged in industry as a research and development engineer for six years. His works include developing a complete middleware suite for large-scale ATM switches and designing product-level digital media processing systems such as digital video disc recordable (DVDR) player and digital video recorder (DVR). He obtained his BS in Electrical Engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul in 1999 and joined the CAST Lab. in 2005. He received outstanding thesis awards from the competitions organized by Samsung Electronics, Co. and the Ministry of Education of Korea in 1999.Socrates Dimitriadis
Socrates Dimitriadis is a third year PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh. He obtained his Diploma in Computer Engineering & Informatics from University of Patras, Greece 2006 and joined the CAST Lab in the same year. His research interests are in computer architecture especially in high performance & low power microprocessors and memory systems, Multi-Core systems, Embedded Systems and Fault-Tolerant Design. Kiyeon Lee is a third year PhD student in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh. His research interests are in computer architecture especially in simulation methodologies.Michael Moeng
