Sunny Gleason's Linux Implementation

Most of this is concerned with kernel changes to allow kernel (and userland) programs to modify the CPU frequency on the Transmeta CPU.

• paos-patch-2.4.16-pre1 - Patch to add the "getboost" and "setboost" system calls to the kernel. These system calls allow the kernel to change the processor speed of the Transmeta CPU.
• paos-patch-2.4.7-timesys - The same patch as above except for the timesys kernel. The timesys kernel is
no longer used in this project due to copyright issues.
• sunny-paos.pdf - Sunny's paper explaining the changes made in the patches.

• boost-1.0.tar.gz - Distribution containing a command line interface, C library rountine, and GUI to utilize the "getboost" and "setboost" system calls.

Christian Mason's RKlinux implementation

These changes incorporate Sunny's frequency scaling changes into the Resource Kernel and attempt to implement kernel controlled power managment.
