    August 28, 2008: I am giving a tutorial on Scheduling Continuous Queries in Data Stream Management Systems at VLDB 2008 in Auckland, New Zealand, together with Mohamed Sharaf and Panos Chrysanthis. (video of why CQ scheduling is important!).

    August 15, 2008: The edited post-proceedings of the Second GeoSensor Networks Conference are finally published through Springer, as Lecture Notes in Computer Science, Vol. 4540.

    July 24, 2008: Mentioned in the University Times newspaper, for receiving an NSF Career award this year.
